About Eve Jorgensen Art

Eve Jorgensen is an Australian who grew up in Tasmania and Western Victoria before spending transient years in NSW, Qld and NT. Eve travelled Australia, exploring all its wonders, before settling in Cairns and the Tableland districts of Nth Queensland 30 years ago. Eve started painting over a decade ago whilst doing a Diploma of Art at Cairns TAFE and further tuition at Cairns Art in the Tropics workshops with renowned tutors. Eve has exhibited in many Cairns artists of the North and Cairns Art Society exhibitions. Eve has paintings displayed in hotel foyers in the Cairns area.

Each painting is an individually thought out process. It is not dictated by current fashion and home decor trends. Although Eve is extensively world travelled and has seen many sites around the globe that testify to natures magnificent beauty, Eve is foremost an Australian and all her inspiration and enthusiasm to paint scenes all come from the Australian landscape.

Most of Eve's works are in oils and/or acrylic on canvas and signed "Eve J.". Original paintings vary in size and prices are from around $600 ranging up to approx $2500.(unframed)

A selection of paintings are able to be ordered in prints on canvas or art paper in various sizes, small, medium and large. These can be rolled for shipping and can be then framed by you. Prints range from $95-$165, plus postage.
